Maui Family Portraits Details

pre-session planning

Starting things off right.

Let’s take a few minutes to get to know each other. I’d like to introduce myself, find out a little about you, and what you are looking for in your photography session.

From there we’ll cover the detailed items including everything from session flow, locations and timing, how to dress for a successful session, and what to bring and what not to bring.

Sessions such as surprise engagements, large groups or generational families, or just creative artistic shoots are some of my favorites; and pre-planning of course so important to insure these captured moments come through perfect as well.

photo session

A full portfolio session run about 45 min to 1 hour; half portfolio sessions run about 30 min

Customized according the the pre-session plan; a typical session will include images taken at up to about four or five different locations throughout an area or property, with each including a variety of standing and seated individual, couples and group portraits.

final image portfolio

Professional editing will be done to ensure the images have captured the moment of the day and match up to your desired creative direction.

Combining Nikon professional high resolution RAW format and Adobe editing products to bring out the best in your images.

A full portfolio will yield between 30-40 final images, a half portfolio approximately 12-15.

Final digital images are rendered in at least 6K image size and .jpg format, provided on a USB thumb drive or Dropbox online file to all clients.

Images are generally ready within 24-48 hours of the session

8″ x 8″ custom photo book

Bringing your memories to life and included with your photography session, is an 8″ x 8″ photo book of your 24 best images.  More than just a proof book, this coffee table keepsake is a perfect way to keep those memories accessible for years to come.
